The cook and creator of the Jikoryū brand was looking for a portfolio that represented its gastronomic vision, showing dishes inspired by the ingredients and style of Japanese cuisine.
After consulting with the cook, we searched for restaurants that inspired us to create a solid concept that would tell a story. I took key elements, made up some sketches, and built proposals for the logo and interface. Then tests were done with users to find out what had an impact, what didn’t, and after several rounds of this, we had enough information to get to the final design.
An interactive portfolio and corporate identity that captured the cook’s love of gastronomy, placing special attention on the cooking equipment and the preparation of the plates, making the food look just as good as it tastes.
